I’ve got the Benefits of Yoga to share with you in my new yoga video, complete with the inevitable BLOOPERS that come from doing Yoga with Pets! The class is a 12-minute outdoor yoga video ONLINE, currently posted for everyone on Patreon to watch and follow along.
So, I wanted to share this postcard for everyone on my blog here at Yoga Current ~
I have a lot more to share on my blog with upcoming content about my yoga practice. For example, I now know more about the benefits of yoga than I ever have before, and that is because I am coming from a new experience in life.
Experience Gained About Weight Loss
I am exploring my yoga from the experience of having gained a bit of extra weight in 2002. It feels great to focus on how yoga can help me lose weight. But most importantly, it feels awesome to focus on how YOGA CAN HELP ME FEEL GOOD IN MY BODY.
I will be honest, and tell you that I was a little hesitant to start making videos again. Yes, that’s because of the extra weight I’ve gained. I compared myself to a superficial standard of my past athleticism. Then I realized that I was viewing my weight gain as an obstacle, when it was NOT AN OBSTACLE!
It is an opportunity to embrace the health, love, and lifestyle that I have now.
I have more love in my life than ever, and I can connect more authentically with those of you who have similar goals and experiences.
Applying Knowledge for the Benefits of Yoga
One thing that is helping me get back to my body in yoga is using yoga props. As you can see in the postcard pic, I am using a set of yoga blocks under my hands. It creates more room in my shoulders and chest, which allows me to feel the desired burning yoga sensations in my core.
In the yoga video online, I guide you through a sequence and teach you special techniques designed to align with your core strength. Then, I end the session with a few minutes of seated shoulder stretches. These seated shoulders stretches, believe it or not, are actually great yoga postures for weight loss.
How can a seated shoulder stretch help you lose weight???
I’m glad you asked 🙂 and I’m excited to share more about the secrets of Yoga for Strength, and Yoga for Weight Loss as they relate to the musculoskeletal, cardiovascular, respiratory, and digestive systems.
Stay tuned for more information about the benefits of yoga!
